Materials

Materials used in our boat construction are selected for durability, fitness for purpose and visual appeal.

Metal fittings and fixtures are generally stainless steel or gunmetal bronze, both chosen for their durability in a wet environment.  Choice of timber is based on customer preference and availability.

Glues, adhesives, paints and varnishes are selected for their quality.  Where epoxy is used for gluing, filleting and coating our brand of choice is the West System.
