Category	Description
Flat water	Paddling on Flat Water open to all members at all levels.
White Water	Paddling working at three star level (unless otherwise stated)
Skills	Session aimed at providing open boat skill building. A qualified CCKA coach will be in attendance
Closed	Non CCKA paddle. Usually organised be a club member for a specific purpose and not open to club members in general.
Assessment	An assessment session run by qualified individuals for the purpose of formal assessment.
Non CCKA	Race or similar activity for surfers organised by another club or organisation.
Club/Admin	Events relating to the running of the club and land based activities

Sat	25.2.12	2* Rescue session	Portrush Harbour - 9.30am to 12.00 Come prepared to get wet. The session will start with demonstration and explanation followed by a practical wet rescue session. The intention is to be short and sharp but effective. Bring dry change of clothes and hot drink!! All those doing the current 2* training should attend. Fri, Sat, Sun	2-4.3.12	White Water	Wicklow White Water weekend - Open Boats only (logistical reasons not boatist ones!!). Intention is to travel to Wicklow town on Friday night. Keith will provide a meal of sorts on Friday around 9. Accommodation both nights will be either on the floor at Keith's or in a nearby Hostel if numbers require. The Saturday will be a local Wicklow river and the Sunday either another local river or the Boyne on return trip.
